Alyssa's team won another game last night. So far both Alyssa and John's teams are undefeated! Alyssa ended up with an assist. Always fun watching them play.

John's team competed in a tournament over the weekend and they ended up winning it 3-2! John had 2 of the 3 goals in the championship game. Sunny and 70's. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful weekend.

This morning just before leaving for school we heard a loud crack of thunder and it felt like the whole house shook. Pictures even fell off the bookshelf in the office. Lightning hit the neighbor's tree and Alyssa saw the bright flash of lightning and watched the tree fall over into the neighbor's yard behind us. If you look close you can see the charred marks on the tree. Pieces of the bark were blown off into our yard hitting our deck and even in our front yard. Quite scary!!
