First Day of School

First day at their new school. They missed yesterday which was the first day of school for all students due to registration delays getting into the computer systems! I didn't get a picture of the kids in their classrooms since I didn't want to embarass them!

The offer on our house in Kansas was finalized yesterday. Thanks so much to our fabulous realtor - went on the market on August 7th and we received the offer on Saturday, August 18th! Yeah!! So we were then able to put in an offer for the house we liked in Ohio in the afternoon and it was accepted!! So today got the kids registered for school. First day was supposed to be tomorrow, but they told me at registration that they had a backlog so wouldn't get the kids into the computer system until probably Thursday so their first day will end up being on Friday. At least missing one day isn't too bad!! So glad it has all worked out!

Another trip to the pool in the morning.

In the afternoon a walk across the street to the Carew Tower. It is the 2nd tallest building in Cincinnati.

A trip to Graeter's. It's right across the street from the hotel at Fountain Square. Last night they were teaching the crowd how to Salsa dance. Above the stage the Red's game was playing on a big screen.

Arrived after about 9 1/2 hours in the car. Walked around the city and went out to eat at Cincy's. Kids loved seeing all of the different pigs. May take some time adjusting to Eastern time.
