Happy Easter

Took Alyssa to a girl scouts climbing activity. Alyssa had a lot of fun and I even successfully made the climb along the wall the whole length without falling. Alyssa has been telling me how sore her muscles are from doing that. My arms are sore as well. Can't wait for the spring/summer so we can get outside and get back into shape. Think we are all tired of being inside all of the time. Am sure it will be here soon enough.

Girl scout sales are over. Alyssa ended up with 181 boxes sold and attended 6 cookie booths. She was 4th out of 13 girls. Way under her 500 boxes goal but she never even went door to door - not even on our street so guess that wasn't too bad.

Started snowing last night and we were already notified around 9pm that there would be a 2 hour delay in the morning. Got the call at 5:45 this morning that the schools would be closed. Kids were excited since their friends back in Kansas had at least 4 snow days over the past weeks. We only ended up with a few inches but we had rain prior so am sure lots of slick areas on the road. Kids were hoping for more to make a BIG snowman. Spent part of their day off going to the orthodontist because shortly after Alyssa woke up one of her brackets came off. Said 6-7 more months of braces. Religion class is on for tonight.
